The Miracle

The miracle is in you and all around you.

It is within, above, below, to the left and right of you extending out in all directions to infinity.

I had a patient come in a few weeks ago, two rounds of chemo and radiation, bone marrow transplant and when that cleared that body seized up and now there is pelvic floor dysfunction that is debilitating....ufff

One thing after another and it is deep and it is hard and it is PAIN.

Procedures and medications and nothing is working.

And here they are desperate for a solution, for some relief.

And I approach this person, this body that has been bombarded with poison and procedures and tell it, "I'm not here to hurt you more. I will be gentle. I will not impose my will on you. I will focus my intention and my skill to help you strengthen what is alive and working in you, because there is so much of it"

The miracle we want from others can only be found inside and it is there pulsating. It is called life. When life is done, the body will seize to function and that life energy will move out and find another place to pulsate through. But as long as it is in the body it will not stop to find a way to heal.

I don't know what lies ahead for this person and what the journey will look like. What I do know is that if I am able to help ignite and strengthen this pulsating life force that a MIRACLE will take place.

May we all find a way to ignite and cultivate the life that is wanting to live through us.
