Once the road is paved

Once a disease process is etched, once a pain trajectory exists, once mental health has been compromised regardless of the care you take, chances are the pathology will resurface.

I always tell my patients, the pain will return, the depression will resurface, the disease will show its face again, it just a question of degree, length and the resources at your side to help manage and deal with it.
